I was kind of hoping to workshop some shaky logic here. Just wanted to understand whether this seemed plausible or not to anyone else: Read more

So like, the Children of the Watch were somehow responsible for Mandalore getting fusion bombed as a ploy to get rid of the other, more reasonable factions, right? To me the fact that they lived on a moon, even though they’re OBSESSED with the planet, kind of cements that. I’m guessing they somehow helped the Empire Read more

Was the cure real? Did they act against Ellie’s wishes? Was Joel justified? These questions all share the same answer: dear god please fucking kill me I can’t do this anymore. Read more

I am so very tired of the “it’s just a game” or “not everything has to be political” comments in their attempts to deflect criticism. You can think one of two things about video games: Read more

It’s such amazingly bad writing and design. Why hang the animal husbandry tasks on a “we’re saving them” framework and then make the tasks so skeevy and exploitative? If the problem is poachers, why is the solution not “put a stop to the poachers” instead of “beat them to the animals”? Is this house-elf tricking you Read more

I’m confused like Mercante on this one). Read more

FomSoftware’s game design is so clever. I’ll give you one example in Elden Ring. When you first get out into the world you see a big knight on a big horse just walking back and forth on the same path. He’s just there and he’s egging you on. He’s almost impossible for you to beat this early on, but FromSoftware knows Read more

Elden Ring (and more specifically, the Raya Lucaria Academy) was the first time in almost a decade that I was up all night gaming, which firmly placed it as the best game I played this year (although competition was stiff). Read more

Wow the comments are weirdly dramatic. This is obviously not a serious issue; I guess the humor got interpreted as pearl clutching? It’s also a perfectly fair criticism to say the presenters should dress more appropriately for an awards show. -Presenters- being the keyword for anyone screaming classism; no one cares Read more
